Greetings, friends and strangers! In just a couple days, Kevin and I will depart for Budapest. Nearly everyone I’ve told about this trip has had the same reaction. “Budapest??!”
Yes! There, will will board the AmaViola and set sail with Adventures by Disney for a weeklong cruise down the Danube River.
Looks totally hideous, right?
From Budapest, we will sail west and through Slovakia and Austria, ending the week in Germany. All four countries are brand new to us, and places I have dreamed of going but never imagined it would truly happen. I’m going to attempt to use this space for daily dispatches, to collect my thoughts and a few photos while it’s all fresh in my mind.
